Cherry Cheesecake Dip

I love desserts!! And based on my past recipes that I’ve shared, I think we all know that by now. I’m not very good at cooking, but I can bake and put together sweet treats all day long! Cheesecake is absolutely delicious and one of my favorites is with some kind of fruit mixed in. But traditional cheesecake can take a little bit of time to make, so why not add a few different ingredients and create a quick dip that can be enjoyed immediately?! This takes almost no time to make and requires very little effort.

One of the great things I love about this recipe is that it only requires 5 ingredients:

~8 oz. Cool Whip
~6 oz. Yogurt
~8 oz. Cream Cheese (softened)
~21 oz. Pie Filling
~½ cup Sweetened Condensed Milk

In a large bowl, the first thing you’ll want to is beat together the softened cream cheese and the entire package of Cool Whip. You could use a whisk and work on your arm muscles, but I decided to use my electric mixer for this part to get it extra airy and to make sure the two ingredients were combined completely.

Then, in the same bowl, you can add in the yogurt and condensed milk. I had the individual packages of vanilla yogurt and that worked fine. The smallest can of condensed milk that I could find in the store was 14 oz. so I just measured out the ½ cup and saved the rest. That stuff is seriously delicious and I’d totally be lying if I said I didn’t eat half of what was left! I tried combining these ingredients in manually with a spoon, but noticed a few clumps so I kept switching between my electric mixer and a whisk until it was smooth.

After you get a smooth consistency of the dip, go ahead and spread it evenly into whatever dish you want to serve it in. I just used a cute pie dish, but you could also put it in a plain tupperware if you’re keeping it for yourself to snack on. When you’re done spreading it in your serving dish and eating whatever’s left in the bowl, add the pie filling of your choice on top. Fresh fruit would also be delicious, but we’re in the middle of winter so options are limited! And I really like the jelly filling part so I have a taste of cherry in each bite ;)
Step 3.JPG
You could serve it immediately if you would like or also keep it in the fridge to cool for a moment. I paired mine with vanilla wafers, but you could also use graham crackers on the side. If you do place the wafers in the dish like I did, I definitely recommend serving it soon afterwards so the wafers don’t get soggy.

This is so delicious and perfect for parties, get togethers, or just to have a yummy snack ready to go whenever you want it. There’s no baking to it or much measuring of ingredients, so it’s super easy and probably took a total of 5-10 minutes to put together. The hardest part is waiting for the cream cheese to come to temperature. I hope you enjoyed this recipe! If you decide to make it yourself, tag me on social media so I can see your creation and let me know how you like it. Have a beautiful day!
