Flower Beauty Blush Bomb Review

Blush is one of my favorite makeup products because it brings so much life to the face. There’s a shade to perfectly match every skin tone and plenty of other colors to play with. Powder blushes have always been my favorite, but lately I’ve been really interested in cream and liquid formulas. The Flower Beauty Blush Bombs seemed like such a unique product and I just had a feeling it was going to be an immediate favorite!

Flower Beauty products used to be available in stores, but I think they may now only be available online. I ordered mine from Ulta for $10 and it comes in the most interesting packaging. I love the squeeze tube for sanitation purposes, but the color drop tip is so unique!

This blush claims to have a silky, lightweight, gel-cream formula that blends seamlessly to give the cheeks an instant healthy glow. There are six shades available and each one is meant to be buildable, natural-looking, and universally flattering on all skin tones.

The shade that I chose is called Melon and although it may look super bright on the packaging, it’s actually very wearable. The amount of pigment in this product is insane! I love to pile on the blush, but the tiny dot shown in the swatch picture below is more than enough for both cheeks.

Aside from the intense pigmentation, the gel-cream formula is my favorite thing about this product. It feels almost like a lightweight moisturizer on the skin and blends effortlessly. It doesn’t dry too quickly, so there is plenty of time to place the product exactly where it needs to be. It never feels tacky (even when drying) and doesn’t budge at all throughout the day.

I was always worried about wearing cream blushes because I thought they would emphasize my oily skin or feel uncomfortable and heavy, but this formula is perfect! I typically use my fingers to do most of the blending before buffing the edges with a dense brush or beauty sponge.

I procrastinated purchasing this product for so long because it was only available online and now I could kick myself for not trying it sooner. It’s absolutely amazing and at such a fair price, I will definitely be placing another order for more shades!
