March Favorites
I’m so happy tomorrow’s April! We didn’t have the worst winter in Florida this year, but I’m beyond ready to move forward into Spring and Summer. So many exciting things coming up! March has been crazy busy and I think it shows in my favorites for this month, I don’t have as many as I usually do. Most days I just stayed at home trying to get things done and wore zero makeup. I have a few items that have showed up in favorites before, but I also have a few new things I’m excited to share.
The first new thing is my current teeth whitening. I was contacted by Smile Brilliant a while ago and asked to try their teeth whitening system. I love keeping my teeth as white as possible, so I was really excited about it. I’ve been using the gel for about three weeks now and I am noticing a difference. I haven’t had any sensitivity to it, which was my biggest concern. I only use it every other day and I do still have quite a bit to go. I will be posting a full review once I’m done with the system, but this is just a little update on how it’s going so far. ;)
I just posted a full review talking about how much I’ve been loving this Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. I really have no idea what took me so long to try this product out, but I am so glad that it’s in my life now. It’s makes the biggest difference in the shortest amount of time. The very second I see a blemish start to pop up, I dab a little of this stuff on at night and it’s basically gone by morning. I kid you not!
My poor foundations probably feel abandoned ever since this Garnier BB Cream made it’s way into the collection. This has been my go-to when I want a little extra coverage. Even on days when I know I’ll have my makeup on for hours and hours, I don’t have to worry about this going anywhere. It’s so lightweight on the skin, but gives such great coverage! Makeup Geek blushes and bronzers will always be my most favorite of favorites, but lately I’ve been reaching for this Pür Cosmetics Midday Mirage Cheek palette from their Glitz & Glam set. It doesn’t have talc in the ingredients, which is my favorite part about it. But the quality and pigmentation on it is also amazing. I like the convenience of having everything all in one palette like this with a few different options. It’s been perfect for when I need to get ready fast!
Getting ready fast is what I’ve had to do a lot lately and on those days, I usually reach for palettes that I know can create an entire eye look without needing to bring in any other products. The two palettes I’ve been going for lately are the Kat Von D Shade + Light eyeshadow palette and the Pür Cosmetics Day Dream palette. Both of them are completely amazing and filled with mostly matte eyeshadows. For lips, I’ve been loving two new products recently. They’re not technically “new” products, but they’re new to me. This is a sneak peek of an Ulta Haul that will be coming up next week! The first one is Ulta’s matte lipstick in the shade Petal and the second one is Ulta’s Lip Butter in Enticing. For being matte, Petal has a very comfortable formula. I love both of these shades alone, but also like pairing them together by placing Petal down first and then patting a little bit of Enticing right on the center of the lips. It’s a beautiful berry combo!
When it comes to makeup, these few products have been on repeat lately. I know they’re all good quality and they’re gonna perform when I need them to without having to worry. I definitely recommend them all and would love to hear your experience if you’ve tried any of them before.
