My Top 10 Black Friday Picks

Happy Black Friday Friday, y’all! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday. It seems like stores keep opening their doors earlier and earlier every year. Honestly, that’s just not my thing. Although I did make a stop last night for one thing, I would much rather stick to the traditional early morning hours. Everything about it just seems so wrong. I even saw an article last month listing stores that wouldn’t be opening on Thanksgiving day and I’ve been making it a point to support those stores more than usual. Regardless of store hours, though, here are my top 10 picks (in no particular order) for this Black Friday...that can be shopped all day long, even online!

1.) Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat Eyeshadow Palette - Ulta - Was $29, Now $15
I don’t own this palette, but I’ve heard pretty good things about it. The warm shades it offers are the “in” colors right now. It has everything needed to create an entire eyelook from start to finish and is a great deal for a high-end product.
2.) The Body Shop Body Butter Trio - Ulta - Was $18, Now $9
I’ve had a few of these body butters before and they’re really good. The scent is always very strong and lasts all day. The formula absorbs into the skin quickly and doesn’t leave behind any greasy feeling. This would also be a great option to split up among multiple gifts.
3.) Mario Badescu Facial Spray Trio - Ulta - Was $15, Now $12
This isn’t the best deal there is when considering the before and after price, but it is still a great way to try multiple facial sprays. The travel sizes do last a long time and can be one of the best refreshers to have on hand throughout the day.
4.) OPI Nail Polish - Ulta - Was $10.50, Now $5
Out of the higher end nail polishes, OPI is definitely one of my favorites. They have one of the largest, most unique color selections in the nail polish market. These rarely ever go on such a discount, so now is the perfect time to stock up!
5.) Lorac LA eyeshadow palettes - Ulta - Was $24, Now $12
These are a more recent release and although I haven’t seen much about them, the color selection seems nice for everyday wear. I always look for smaller palettes like these on Black Friday because it’s a great opportunity to try something from a high-end brand without committing to their regular inflated prices.
6.) Popsockets - Target - Was $10, Now $5
I caved and got my first Popsocket earlier this year, and I absolutely love it!! I feel so much more comfortable holding my phone without any worries of dropping it. It might seem silly or gimmicky, but it really works. And it’s worth keeping the phone safe!
7.) A New Day tees, tanks, and long sleeves - Target - Was $8-10, Now $4-6
This has quickly become my favorite brand at Target and one of my favorite clothing brands in general. All of their clothes are so soft and comfortable! I bought four different colors of these long sleeves last year and with the cold weather we’ve been having, I was finally able to bring them out again. I have no control when it comes to adding soft clothes to my wardrobe and honestly, I’ll probably be looking for new colors this year.
8.) Women’s Graphic Pullovers - Target - Was $18, Now $15
This isn’t the best sale and I’m not sure exactly what brand these are, but this selection looked so cute! I got a few graphic sweaters last year from the Grayson Threads brand and absolutely love them. They’re so soft and kept me very warm. I even gifted one to my sister and she lives in it too!
9.) Philips Sonicare Protective Clean 4100 Power Toothbrush - Target - Was $60, Now $35
This is the toothbrush I use and I absolutely love it! I got my first Philips Sonicare toothbrush quite a few years ago and switched to this skinnier style last year. It’s the best toothbrush I’ve ever used and it’s at such an affordable price. The replacement heads are a little pricey, but it is sooo worth it!
10.) Athletic Works Sherpa Pullover - Walmart - Was $17, Now $12
This is another that isn’t at too much of a discount, but I know y’all have been seeing these things all over Instagram! They look super warm and cozy, which I’m all about because anything below 70 literally gives me goosebumps. This style comes in four different colors and is just a fraction of the price of others. Dupes aren’t just for makeup!
Almost everything I mentioned were from my two favorite stores, Ulta and Target. With an exception of that sherpa pullover. But I always have to make an honorary mention to Hautelook and Makeup Geek because I’ve gotten some amazing deals from them in the past and I continue checking their site for sales all day long.

Makeup Geek is one of my favorite makeup brands, especially when it comes to powder face products. Their eyeshadows are phenomenal, but they’re one of the only brands that offers face powders without talc. That is so important to me and the health of my skin!

Hautelook is a great website to check for sales all year long, but they always have more available on Black Friday. I’ve gotten lots of high-end makeup from this site at a huge discount. Their shipping does take awhile, but the prices are worth the wait.
I don’t know how much shopping I’ll be doing in stores this year. I always go out and give it a try, but I have absolutely zero patience and I really can’t stand the way some people act. Last year, I went out and found exactly what I wanted just to put it back because of the lines. I ended up purchasing almost everything online in the comfort of my own home with my family and pajamas. I wouldn’t be surprised if that becomes my yearly tradition. It’s a total win-win!
