The Easter Tag
Easter is this weekend, which means chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate!! And pastels. Yayy, pastels are back! Since Easter is only two days away, what other tag would I do for this month other than share some fun Easter stories?! Duh! There’s a tag for everything now. There are only 10 questions to this tag, so if you have any others that you’d like to add, feel free to leave them in the comments at the end of the post.
1.) Do you celebrate Easter?
Of course! That’s how I was raised and that’s how I’ll continue my life.
2.) What is your favorite thing about Easter?
I think I covered this one in the intro, chocolate and pastels! I’m probably the biggest chocoholic ever and that’s what Easter is full of, and I love it. Along with pastels and other Spring colors and decor, I also love Easter lilies even though I’m allergic to them. They’re so pretty!
3.) What are your plans for Easter this year?
I will be going to spend the day with my family. Easter happens to land on my grandma’s birthday this year, so we’ll be celebrating that after our traditional Easter brunch outing.
4.) Do you color eggs?
Absolutely! I’m not as good at it as I would like to be, but it’s still a fun tradition and a great bonding activity.
5.) How old were you when you stopped hunting eggs?
Are you kidding? I’m 24 years old and still do Easter egg hunts. Even if it’s just my fiancé and me, we still hide eggs for each other and have fun with it. I’m not sure what’s more fun, having to search for the eggs or trying to find good places to hide them.
6.) What is your favorite Easter treat?
Like I said, I’m a total chocoholic so I’m not exactly very picky. But one treat that I love specifically around Easter time are the Elmer’s Gold Brick Eggs. That chocolate just melts in my mouth and the pecans in it are just the right size. Yummm!!
7.) Best Easter memory?
When I was younger and we would do Easter egg hunts, my grandpa used to put money in the eggs. Some had candy, some had quarters, and some might have had a dollar. Candy is delicious and all, but let’s be real money’s always the best!
8.) Do you get pictures with the Easter bunny?
I did a few times when I was younger, but it was never a traditional thing. I thought it was a little creepy, I didn’t like the outfits my mom would always dress me in, and standing in line as a child is basically torture so it’s not something I’ll be continuing.
9.) What do you typically put in Easter baskets?
Chocolate. And a present or two ;) Sometimes we do typical chocolates that are special to Easter, but other times we also like filling the baskets with some of our common favorites.
10.) What does the Easter bunny typically leave your kids?
Well, we don’t have any kids yet but the Easter bunny will be bringing a few things for my four-legged kid. She’ll get a few treats and a stuffed animal to play with. ;)
It might be a little short notice, but I challenge you all to do this tag. Whether you have a blog or not, leave me a link or your answers in the comments below. I’d love to know some of your Easter traditions! Do you think you’re ever too old to stop hunting Easter eggs?
