Maybelline Brow Precise Micro Pencil Review
Maybe she’s born with it...maybe it’s Maybelline. In this case, it is definitely Maybelline. More specifically, it’s the Maybelline Brow Precise Micro Pencil. Unfortunately, one thing that I have not been blessed with in my life are eyebrows. Mine aren’t very thick or very long and even if they were, it wouldn’t make a difference because half of my brow hairs are an invisible blonde anyway. So I can always use a good brow product and usually the more precise it is, the better!
I’ve tried so many different eyebrow pencils and one thing I’ve noticed is that they’re not all made the same. There are quite a few dupes in the market that are purposefully identical to one another, but for the most part they’re all very different. This Brow Precise pencil has a super fine 1.5mm micro tip on one end and a grooming brush on the other. It is a mechanical retractable pencil and thankfully, it only really has one claim: to provide extreme precision.
There are four different color options of this pencil and the shade I have is Soft Brown, which is the second lightest shade. As you can see in the picture above, it does have a super precise tip but what makes it even better is the formula. I’ve had other small pencils that are too dry. This one has the perfect consistency. It is very creamy and glides onto the brows effortlessly. I don’t have to apply too much pressure because it’s such an easy color transfer. If anything, I’d say I actually have to be a little gentle in order to not break it.
This specific color is a great match for me and the spoolie on it is also really nice. It’s just the right density to comb through the brow hairs and I appreciate that it’s a little smaller. Every now and then, I do set this with a gel on top but it is definitely not required. This has always stayed in place for me all day long, regardless of any other circumstances. If you like smaller brow pencils, I definitely recommend that you pick this up. It’s one of the best I’ve tried!
