My Top 5 Most Repurchased Beauty Products
You know you really love a product when you keep repurchasing it over and over again instead of looking for something else to replace it with. I’ve included many of my favorite repurchase items over the years in my empties posts, but have kinda been excluding those lately to prevent too much repetition. I’ve seen tons of “Top 5” posts and videos on various subjects and thought it’d be fun to share what five beauty products I have repurchased the most. There were a lot of contenders, so there might eventually be a part 2 to this at least in a different category. Let me know what you think!
I’m pretty sure all five of these have been mentioned on my blog at least once before, but this first one even got it’s own separate full review. This is the L’oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions mascara in the shade Carbon Black. It slowly started fading out of stores and then I could only find it on Amazon. Now, I can’t even find it on Amazon anymore so I think it’s officially out of the market. Thankfully, I’ve been able to find some very good replacements although this still stands as my most repurchased mascara.
This next one is also a product that got it’s own review, which has actually become one of my most popular blog posts. It’s the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser for Dark Circles concealer. I can’t even begin to think about how many times I have bought this concealer. I’ve tried many different shades, but Fair has proved to be my favorite. The Brightener was a little too pink for me and the Neutralizer was a little too orange. This one matches my skin perfectly and conceals all the dark circles!
I never considered Maybelline to be one of my favorite drugstore brands, but as I looked at my most repurchased products I realized that three out of the five products are Maybelline. What a surprise that was! They have really amazing concealers, though. I love the Age Rewind for my undereyes and the Fit Me concealers for all other areas around the face. I use both of these every single time I do my makeup and as you can see by the three shades below, I always have them in my drawer. I have a lighter shade to match me during the Winter, a little bit of a darker shade to match me in the Summer, and the darkest shade to use as a liquid contour. The obsession with these is real!
My last Maybelline product (no, this is not sponsored) is one that brings back so many memories and something that I keep in my purse at all times. I even have a backup ready to go at this very second because, as you can see in the picture below, I’ve almost finished another one. This is the Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm in the shade Cherry Me. I’ve tried other shades of this and although I liked the way the Grape Vine shade looked on my lips, the artificial grape scent made me sick. This one just makes the lips look juicy and healthy, and I’m a sucker for the soft reds!
The Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Hardener is definitely my most repurchased nail product. I’m not sure whether I’ve purchased this or Seche Vite more, but since this is what is currently in my collection I can only assume it would be Sally Hansen. This is really great for strengthening the nails after damage and keeping them strong with consistent polish wear, but I’m starting to wonder if it’s making my polish chip faster. I’ve noticed my nail polish literally peeling off lately, like water color, and I’ve changed everything in my routine aside from this product. I’ll try another base coat after this, but if I don’t notice a difference I’ll definitely be purchasing this again.
Going through my collection and picking out my most repurchased beauty products was actually a lot of fun. I know I use these products and buy them all the time, but I never take the time to think about how long I’ve stayed loyal to these products and it brings back so many memories. Before learning about and being sucked into the beauty community 5 ½ years ago, I didn’t have any idea about any of these products and now I can barely even remember what life was like before. So much has happened in those years and all five of these have significantly helped me improve myself and my beauty routine.

Since St. Patty’s Day is coming up this weekend, I had to make sure I at least had my nails prepared ahead of time in the off chance that I accidentally forget to wear a green shirt or something! The color I’m wearing is called High Stakes from Revlon. I haven’t worn this polish in such a long time, so I can’t exactly remember what the quality is like and how long it lasted. But it does have a slightly curved brush and the formula is really opaque!
What’s on your nails this week?
