St. Patty's Day Treats

St. Patrick’s Day is tomorrow!! I hope you’re all prepared with your green outfits! I’ve always wondered if having green eyes counts in preventing pinching. I don’t have green eyes, but my dad and sister would always use that excuse and I never thought it was fair! What do you think?? Last year, I shared a St. Patty’s Day inspired tutorial that featured green eyeshadow and this year, I’ve got you covered on the drinks!

All you’ll need is:

~½ oz Coconut rum
~½ oz Creme de banana
~½  oz Melon liqueur
~½ oz Pineapple juice
~1 ½ oz Whipped Cream
Just add all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker, shake it all together really well, and pour into a small glass.

I usually put in a few ice cubes into the shaker also to make it a little bit more cold. It’s not a very big drink because it can separate pretty quickly as it sits. I’ve also tried it with milk and half & half instead of whipped cream, but it’s just not the same. My husband doesn’t like bananas, which is another version of this that’s actually not too bad. There’s plenty of different options! Just make sure to add a cherry on top, that makes it! ;)
These are sooo good! When I first discovered this drink, I had it all the time regardless of what holiday it was. This just happens to be the perfect St. Patty’s Day themed color, so why not?! Unfortunately, I don’t have a children’s version of this to share with you but I do have a delicious krispie treat that is just as easy to whip up!

If you enjoyed this recipe, please feel free to share it using one of the buttons below! Have you tried a Scooby Snack before? What are your St. Patrick’s Day plans?
