My Top 5 Pixi Skincare Products
It took quite a while for me to try the Pixi brand. For whatever reason, they were one that I always looked over when I was at Target. I never took the time to see what they actually had to offer. But now, they’re one of my favorite brands! I’ve tried so many different products of theirs over the past few years and it’s very rare that I’m ever disappointed with their quality. I’ve actually found many favorites that have become a staple in my skincare routine and although it was incredibly difficult to choose, these are my top five that I just can’t live without!
Let’s start with the Peel & Polish. I love exfoliating my face and I’m really picky about the scrubs that I use. If it’s not gritty enough to make a noticeable difference, I don’t want it. The Pixi Peel & Polish is unlike anything I’ve tried before. It has lots of tiny little scrubbies to effectively exfoliate the skin and it smells amazing!! This leaves my face feeling softer longer than any other scrub and although it is pricey when comparing it to other drugstore exfoliators, it’s worth it because it actually works!
The Pixi Hydrating Milky Lotion actually caught me a little by surprise. Their Hydrating Milky Collection is directed more toward those with dry skin, and I’m the complete opposite with extremely oily skin. This lotion is much more lightweight than I was expecting, especially since it’s also marketed as a body lotion and two of its key ingredients include Coconut Oil and Shea Butter.
It absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn’t leave behind any greasy residue. It’s incredibly nourishing and something that I can use year round. I love it for adding moisture back to my skin after spending time in the sun during Summer and it provides great protection from the cold, dry air during Winter.
The Rose Flash Balm was one of my first favorites from the Pixi brand. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever used before! This can be used as a moisturizer, as a primer before makeup, or as a face mask. It smells like roses and has such luxurious smooth consistency. It is slightly thicker than a typical moisturizer, which is what makes it so multifunctional. However, it absorbs quickly into the skin and its screw top tubed packaging makes it super travel-friendly.
Another one of my favorite Pixi moisturizers is their Vitamin-C Caviar Balm. I did really enjoy the lotion from the Vitamin-C Collection, but the balm was definitely my favorite. It’s very similar to the Rose Flash Balm in its consistency, though it’s not quite as thick and has a more citrusy scent. When using the rest of the Vitamin-C products in combination with this balm, I did notice it brighten my skin’s complexion. I have to have at least one of these balms in my skincare collection at all times!
I love the thought of under eye patches, but the Pixi DetoxifEYE Hydrogel Under-Eye Patches have been the only ones I’ve ever really enjoyed. I love that they’re completely gel because that makes them so much more comfortable. I usually keep these on for about 10-15 minutes and I’m always amazed at the difference they make! It’s one thing for eye patches to feel good, but when they visibly depuff and tighten the undereye area it’s a totally different story!
Pixi tonics are some of their most popular products and while I have enjoyed all the different ones I’ve tried, these other products are more unique. I have toners from other brands that I also enjoy, but I have not found any comparable products to Pixi’s Peel & Polish, moisturizers, or eye gels. These are products I will always repurchase and recommend!
