This or That Tag
I always get so excited to write these tag posts! Obviously I love writing makeup reviews, but it’s nice to have a break and have some loose talk for y’all to get to know me a little better. I did the 40 Beauty Questions Tag last month and today I thought it’d be fun to do the This or That tag. It includes beauty, fashion, and a few random ones--here we go!
Makeup:
Blush or bronzer?
Bronzer because you can use it to add color to the cheeks
Lipgloss or lipstick?
I’m not really sure since I always only wear a tinted lip balm. But if I had to pick, I guess lipgloss because it’s shiny
Eyeliner or mascara?
Mascara, all the way!
Foundation or concealer?
Concealer because it covers more and can double as foundation if need be
Neutral or color eyeshadow?
Neutral! I think we already know that...
Pressed or loose eyeshadow?
Pressed. It’s easier to work with and I don’t have the time or patience to be messing with loose powder going everywhere
Brushes or sponges?
Brushes because there’s more options
Nails:
OPI or China Glaze?
OPI, I don’t think I’ve even tried a China Glaze polish
Long or short?
Short because they’re more sanitary and easier for me to maintain and work with
Acrylic or natural?
Natural, I’ve had my phase of acrylics and I’m over them ruining my nails
Brights or darks?
Brights because it keeps me in a brighter mood ;)
Flower or no flower?
No flower, even though I really love the way they look from time to time
Body:
Perfume or body splash?
Body splash, perfume is usually too strong
Lotion or body butter?
Lotion because it’s not as heavy feeling and I can use it year round in Florida’s hot, humid months
Bodywash or soap?
Soap, specifically antibacterial soap. Anything else usually breaks me out or irritates my skin :(
Lush or other bath company?
I can’t really answer this because of what I said in the previous question and also because I’ve never used Lush products before. It’s on my list to try, though!
Fashion:
Jeans or sweatpants?
Jeans unless I’m at home, then it’s sweatpants all day!
Long sleeve or short sleeve?
Short sleeve because you can layer things on top and it gives you options
Dresses or skirts?
Dresses because you don’t have to spend time finding a top to match
Stripes or plaid?
I’ve been wearing more plaid lately, so let’s go with that!
Flip flops or sandals?
I’m from the beach y’all, flip flops all day, every day, and for any occasion! ;)
Scarves or hats?
Scarves, one of my most favorite accessories
Studs or dangly earrings?
Studs because of their delicate simplicity
Necklaces or bracelets?
Necklaces. I really love bracelets, but I have a really small wrist and it’s a challenge for me to find bracelets that won’t fall off
Heels or flats?
Flats!! Thank you very much!
Cowboy boots or riding boots?
Riding boots? I’ve never worn either, but I like that they go higher up. Or at least from what I can tell in the pictures I just Googled ;)
Jacket or hoodie?
Jacket because it’s not going to mess up my hair if I take it off throughout the day
Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe?
Forever 21, I usually find more things there that I like and think they have a bigger selection
Abercombie or Hollister?
I don’t shop at either, but when I was younger I remember wanting to go into Hollister more
Saks 5th or Nordstrom?
Don’t judge, but I’ve never stepped foot in either of these stores and have no idea what the difference is
Hair:
Curly or straight?
Curly, duhh! ;)
Bun or ponytail?
Bun, that’s usually what I do 80% of the week. Especially when I’m home!
Bobby pins or butterfly clips?
Bobby pins, I loose them all the time (who doesn’t?) but I like how unnoticeable they are in the hair
Hairspray or gel?
Hairspray, I wouldn’t even know what to do with gel
Long or short?
Long, I’ve been continuously trying to grow mine out foreverrr
Light or dark?
I’ve never dyed my hair and don’t really have a preference. I think whatever you have naturally is what always looks best
Side swept bangs or full bangs?
Side swept, just not all up in my face
Up or down?
I think it depends on the outfit...and the occasion...and the weather
Random:
Rain or shine?
Shine! Sunshine, sunshine, sunshine!!
Summer or winter?
Summer! Take me to the beach, get me a tan, and let’s get ready for some football!
Fall or spring?
Fall, it’s refreshing after a hot summer and time to prepare for the holidays
Chocolate or vanilla?
Chocolate!! Why is vanilla even a thing? ;)
East Coast or West Coast?
I’ve lived on both and my answer is definitely the East Coast, there’s no comparison! <3
