Top 10 Black Friday Picks

Happy Black Friday, y’all!! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving full of delicious food. We had my family over at mine and Jacob’s house to celebrate our first Thanksgiving being married. Jacob loves cooking Thanksgiving food, so he really enjoyed it. Black Friday technically happens super early in the morning. However, most sales have been happening almost all week already and last until mid-day, or even throughout the weekend, which means I’ll be enjoying my morning in with a delicious hot cup of coffee. If you are braving the crowds, though, I did put together a list of my top 10 best Black Friday picks...that I’ll probably end up purchasing online if I’m being completely honest.

1.) Amazon Fire HD 10

I got Amazon’s latest Fire HD 8 last year when they first announced it and lowered their price. I’m still loving it and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a more affordable tablet option. This device is usually $150 and is currently on sale for only $99! It’s prime eligible and comes in three shades. Shop it here.

2.) Hautelook

I’ve talked about Hautelook before and how they’re one of my favorite places to find high-end makeup for cheap. They’ve had amazing deals on Black Friday for the past two years and I plan on spending a lot of time on their website today. They have clothing for women, men, and kids, along with home, and beauty products. I'm really interested in checking out what they have this year.

3.) Kohl’s and JCPenney clothes

I’m kinda cheating here by including two stores, but I’m sure you won’t mind! Looking through the ads, there were a lot of clothing from both Kohl’s and JCPenney that caught my eye. From Kohl’s, I really recommend looking into their SO sweatpants. I have three pairs already and they have the softest inside lining that I’ve ever felt. The ones shown below are only $10! From JCPenney, I found this super cozy looking tunic that’s only $9!

4.) Target Mossimo & A New Day sweaters and tees

Target is my new obsession when it comes to clothes. As if you couldn’t tell from the above options, I like to be comfortable and Target always delivers especially when it comes to the basics. There’s nothing better than comfortable basics that can be paired with anything for any occasion. They’re having a lot of great clothing sales also, but I’m really excited about their sweaters from the brand A New Day and their Mossimo tees. The sweaters are only $10 and the shirts are $4!

5.) Makeup Geek

Like you didn’t see this one coming? I loveeee Makeup Geek. I love all their products and everything they do, especially when they have very rare sales. They’re offering 30% off their products excluding kits, palettes, and bundles. I just mentioned last week that I need to stock up on my favorite bronzer, so this is the perfect time to get a bunch of new goodies too.

6.) Ulta - Select mascaras

The last four sale items that I’m going to mention can all be found at Ulta. The first is their “select mascaras” deal for $10 each. They’ve featured all high-end brands, which is pretty rare. If you’ve been looking to try an IT Cosmetics, Tarte, Buxom, or Urban Decay mascara, now’s your time!

7.) OPI Nail Polish

I don’t like a lot of higher end nail polishes, but OPI is one that I always seem to be pretty impressed with. I appreciate how many colors they offer within their line and how innovative they are with their shades and finishes. These polishes are typically $10.50 a piece, so it’s really a steal to get them for only $5 each. They almost never go on sale like this!

8.) IT Cosmetics Universal Brow Pencil

I used to own this brow pencil and absolutely adored it. I’ve thought about repurchasing it many times, but always stop myself because I have enough brow products to work through at the moment. I might have to finally bring it back into my collection now though. This is another item that never goes on sale and right now it’s 50% off, making the full size only $12. I had the travel size before and it lasted me forever, I can only imagine how far I could get with this!

9.) Pur Cosmetics Palettes

I’ve haven’t been able to shut up about Pur Cosmetics recently. I’ve been getting a lot of their products in my Boxycharms and have even seen them on Hautelook somewhat frequently. I’ve been impressed with almost everything I’ve tried from them and would definitely recommend picking up one of these Quick Pro Portables sets. They put good ingredients into their products and I’ve almost always gotten a good result through application.

10.) Tarte Goddess Glam Eye & Cheek Palette

The last sale item I have to share is Tarte’s Goddess Glam Eye & Cheek palette, which is on sale for $19. Tarte is a very well known brand with high-quality products. I’ve gotten one or two of these types of sets in previous years and always enjoyed them. I like the shade selection they chose to include, along with their Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara. I had a travel size of it years ago and remember enjoying it.

I’m really excited about all these sales and happy to see so many wonderful options. Almost everything that I mentioned will also be available online, for those of you who like to stay snuggled up on the couch all day like me.
