Rocksbox Unboxing #2

I got another Rocksbox in the mail! Last month was the first time I had ever tried Rocksbox before and I love the concept of it. If you haven’t heard of them, Rocksbox is a jewelry subscription service that charges $21 a month to send you three pieces of jewelry. You can add things to your wishlist and your stylist will most likely choose pieces from that list to include in your set. You get to wear the pieces all month, purchase the pieces you’d like to keep, and send back the rest. The $21 you pay for the box acts as a credit towards a purchase, which I think is super helpful and a great solution for the pieces you’ve fallen in love with.

The first item in this month’s set is a ring from the brand Aster. Although you include your ring size in your profile, I was still a little nervous about it just because I have such small fingers. Thankfully, it fits perfectly and I absolutely love it. The style is called the Zinnia ring in Labradorite, which retails at $49. I’ve never heard of Labradorite before, but I think it looks beautiful. I love the shape of it and the way the stone pairs with the gold around it. It’s also super lightweight and comfortable to wear.

It’s a good thing they include a reference card in the box because I had the hardest time trying to figure out what this next item was. I’ve never had a wrap bracelet before, otherwise it probably would’ve been obvious. This one is from the brand Nakamol and is their rose gold and gold wrap bracelet, retailing for $62. Just like my fingers, I have very small wrists so this wraps around quite a few times. It is pretty heavy so I can’t wear it on extremely hot and humid days or it’ll just be too much. Otherwise, I do love the colors of it and the way it looks.

Look how perfectly these two pair together, especially with an olive green based outfit. Add in a quick self tan and you have the perfect combination for a beautiful Summer day!

The last item in this month’s set is a delicate crystal layered choker from Sophia Harper. I’m pretty sure I’ve heard of this brand before and I definitely know I’ve seen these necklaces everywhere lately. I’ve wanted to try one for such a long time and now I’m obsessed. This sparkles beautifully and it’s so lightweight. It retails for $58 and can pair with almost anything. This is definitely the most wearable item in the set. However, if you don’t like things close to your neck you might not like this. I wear it on the last ring of the extender and it sits right at the base of my neck.

I didn’t end up keeping anything from last month’s box just because none of them were items that I really thought were any different than what I already have in my collection. This month, though, they really hit it out of the park. I want to keep every single piece! I love how they all match together perfectly, yet are still so versatile and can be paired with many different outfits. This week I’m wearing a brand new polish, which is super exciting. I don’t know if it’s new to the Sinful Colors line, but it’s new to my collection. The color I’m wearing is called Just Deserts and it’s the first “stoned” nail polish that I’ve ever had. It’s a very neutral color, but when you look closely you can see small crystal shimmers in it. You’ll definitely want two coats with this one to really get it to show up and as with most Sinful Colors polishes that I’ve tried, this one was very easy to apply.

What’s on your nails this week?
