Top 10 Black Friday Picks
Happy Thanksgiving, y’all!! I hope you’re having a beautiful, relaxing day so far. While I work on digesting all the delicious food, I spend my time planning out my Black Friday game plan. I don’t like spending a lot of time in stores or standing in line, so I like to plan out where I’m going, what I’m looking for, and in what order I’m going to do it in to make it more of a smooth process. From the sale ads that I’ve seen so far, these are my top 10 picks. Most are from Target and Ulta (my two faves), but in no particular order.
1.) Mascaras - Ulta - Was $20-24, Now $10
This seems to be an annual event during Ulta’s Black Friday sale and if you like high-end mascaras, this is the perfect opportunity to stock up on some favorites. These will be on sale for drugstore prices!
2.) Sexy Hair - Ulta - Now $8.99
I haven’t tried much from the Sexy Hair brand, but I do love their Tri-Wheat Leave-In Conditioner. The ad only says the entire brand will be $8.99, which is a great deal considering this is normally $17.95.
I also wanted to make an honorable mention to the It’s a 10 brand. Their leave-in products will be 50% off, which are something that rarely ever go on sale. I’m currently using their Leave-In Conditioner with Keratin and love everything about it. However, the Sexy Hair Leave-In is a better option if you’re acne prone because the keratin in the It’s a 10 is known to cause breakouts.
3.) OPI Nail Polish - Ulta - Was $10.50, Now $5.25
This is another product Ulta seems to include in their Black Friday sales almost every year and it’s one I’ll always include in my top picks. OPI is one of my favorite high-end nail polish brands, but I’ll only ever buy it on sale!
4.) bareMinerals Prime Time Foundation Primer - Ulta - Was $25, Now $10
This is supposed to be a really great primer, especially for oily skin. It’s one that’s been on my list for a while and with it listed on sale for more than 50% off, now is the perfect time to try it!
5.) Lorac Pro Palettes - Ulta - Was $39, Now $19.50
These are such classic, universal palettes that would make a great addition to any makeup collection. Lorac has an amazing eyeshadow formula and I love the equal amount of matte and shimmer shades provided in each palette. $19.50 for a 16-pan high-end eyeshadow palette almost never happens!
6.) A New Day sweaters - Target - Now $10
A New Day has quickly become one of my favorite brands at Target. I usually find sweaters to be a little scratchy, but this is one brand I know I can always count on for soft clothes.
7.) A New Day tees - Target - Was $8-10, Now $4-6
Along with their sweaters, A New Day short and long sleeve tees will also be on sale. I own so many different colors of each, I can’t even count. These are perfect wardrobe staples and great for layering.
8.) Threshold Performance Bath Towels - Target - Was $8, Now $5
My favorite towels! I have these in so many different colors and will definitely be adding a few more during this sale. Towels are something you can never really have too much of.
9.) Shark Navigator DLX Vacuum - Target - Was $200, Now $85
I own a Shark Navigator Deluxe vacuum and absolutely love it. I practically begged for it for Christmas one year, so it would definitely make a great gift idea! Even if you’re just in the market for a new vacuum, there’s a huge price difference for this sale and now would be the time to pick it up.
10.) Pyrex 22 Piece Glass Set - Target - Was $54, Now $18
This is one sale item I will definitely be purchasing. First, just look at that price difference! Second, I absolutely hate everything about plastic tupperware. Especially how it never dries in the dishwasher! I plan on getting rid of all my plastics and replacing them with Pyrex glass sets instead.
I will be taking advantage of most of these sales and doing as much as I can from the comfort of my own home. Most all Black Friday sales can also be shopped online. If you do decide to stay in, don’t forget to activate Rakuten (previously Ebates) in your browser to get cash back. I never shop online without it!
