Alphabet Get To Know Me Tag
Tomorrow is Christmas Eve!! That makes me so happy!! Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year and as a child, I feel like it took forever to get here but as an adult, it keeps showing up before I’m even ready! But since it’s just a few days away now, I figured it would be the perfect time to take a break from the beauty talk to give you the opportunity to get to know me a little better. I’ve been seeing this Alphabet Status Tag going around Facebook and thought it would be something fun to post on here for my monthly tag. Recently, they’ve been focused around beauty. But this is the holidays, so let’s get a little personal ;)
A - Age: I’m 23 years old, but will be 24 the first week of January!
B - Biggest fear: Bugs. I’m scared of many, many, many things but bugs are the number one thing that can make me scream and cry in fear within a matter of seconds.
C - Current time: 3:35 in the afternoon. Pretty early considering I usually do my writing at night.
D - Drink you last had: Barq’s Root beer. I had it with a roast beef po-boy and some salt & vinegar chips for lunch. Yummm!!
E - Every day starts with: Petting my German Shepherd. She always wakes up first and comes to the side of my bed super excited to begin a new day.
F - Favorite song: Since it’s Christmas time, we’ll go with my favorite Christmas song which is Carol of the Bells. It never fails to give me goose bumps!
G - Ghosts, are they real?: I really hope not because I just can’t deal with that kind of stuff.
H - Hometown: I grew up along Florida’s Emerald Coast and I will always think it is one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
I - In love with: my fiancé!!
J - Jealous of: my German Shepherd. She seriously has the best life ever. Spoiled rotten!!
K - Killed someone?: Nope.
L - Last time you cried: Last week when my boyfriend of four and a half years asked me to marry him!!
M - Middle name: Leigh, as you all probably already know ;)
N - Number of siblings: one hilarious, gorgeous, supportive, bratty, loving little sister.
O - One wish: To always keep my sense of humor. I’m a huge believer that laughter heals everything!
P - Person you last called: My dad, wondering why my mom wasn’t answering my calls. Dad always answers ;)
Q - Question you’re always asked: How have you been? And it’s always one of those questions that makes me draw a blank, like when someone asks you to describe yourself...ugh!!
R - Reason to smile: Every time I come home and my German Shepherd squeaks with excitement.
S - Song last sang: Whatever I was listening to on Jango. I was obviously paying more attention to the road than what I was singing...because I’m safe!
T - Time you woke up: 11:15. I like late nights and late mornings. It’s a horrible routine, I know!
U - Uniform: I’m always in pajamas. Otherwise it’s jeans, yoga pants, skirts, whatever is most comfortable.
V - Vacation destination?: Bora Bora is absolutely gorgeous and my dream vacation, but there is no way I could get myself to travel that far. I am totally not a traveller.
W - Worst habit: Taking forever to tell a story and forgetting where I’m going with it halfway through my sentences.
X - X-rays you’ve had: None. Thank goodness! Unless you count the dentist...
Y - Yesterday’s meals: Coffee, chili and fritos, a Moe’s burrito, a salad with ginger dressing, teriyaki chicken wings, cinnamon rolls, and cereal. In that order.
Z - Zodiac sign: Capricorn, but please do not ask me what that means because I have no idea.
I hope y’all enjoyed getting to know me a little better. I know I can go on for a while answering questions, but I tried my best to keep these pretty short.
