Rocksbox Unboxing #3

Rocksbox has been one of the most interesting subscription boxes that I’ve ever tried or come across. Although I’m not a huge jewelry lover and I haven’t kept most of the items that I’ve received in my previous two boxes, I love their system. The fact that they basically refund your money every month into a credit to purchase one of the items is great and they make it so easy to return the items you don’t want to keep. They’ve always had fast shipping that leaves and arrives on time, which is one of the most important factors to me. The stylists really do listen to your feedback and send you pieces you specifically add to your wishlist.

I did receive three different items again this month, a necklace, a pair of earrings, and a bracelet. The necklace is from Kate Spade and is called the Building Blocks Bar Pendant, which retails for $48. Kate Spade products always have such a high price tag (at least in my opinion), but their items all across their brand are always so cute. I’m all about simple pieces like this and I love that it’s neutral enough to match with so many different things. I know they probably designed it like this on purpose, but if I had to change anything about this piece it would be to make all the sections of white and black even across the bar. The OCD in me freaks out every time I look at how uneven the black section on the left side is compared to the rest of it. That’s probably just me, though.

The pair of earrings included in this month’s set is by the brand Sophie Harper, which I was introduced to with last month’s gold layered necklace. These are called their Eloise Pearl Studs and retail for $36. I believe these are real pearl accents, but the metal is gold plated brass. I like that they’re small enough to provide just a hint of jewels without being too heavy and weighing the ear down. And I don’t know if it’s just me, but when I turn these a certain way they give off some nautical vibes and remind me of a boat wheel.

If you saw last month’s post, then this last piece might look very familiar. I received the same wrap bracelet from Nakamol just in a different color. This one has more cool tones with the grays and silvers, whereas the other one was very warm with its gold and rose gold accents. If you know me, then I’m sure you already know that I prefer the other one more. However, I’m not saying that this one can’t look cute with the right outfit!

This month’s box was pretty nice, although I am a little bummed that they included the same bracelet again. I would’ve liked to have tried something different. You do have the option of checking in on your box before it gets shipped to switch out any items you might not want, which I probably should have done on this one. I just like being surprised, so every time I get that last email I always choose to opt out and wait for it to show up. This will be my last Rocksbox unboxing that you’ll see on my blog, but if you’re really into jewelry and fashion I definitely recommend trying out their services. If you are interested, you can use my code christinaschiccornerxoxo at checkout and receive your first month free!

If you have any other questions, please feel free to leave them for me in the comments section below. Have you tried Rocksbox before? What’s your favorite subscription box?
