Pre-Valentine's Day Pampering

Valentine’s Day is tomorrow and if you’re anything like me, you’ll use any excuse possible to pamper yourself. Not that you need an excuse for that, taking care of yourself is beyond important! But I thought it’d be fun to pick out five of my favorite pamper products that are somewhat Valentine’s Day themed to get you looking and feeling your absolute best!

What is pampering without a bubble bath? I mean, that’s just an essential. My favorite bubble bath products are the Lush bubble bars and The Comforter is definitely the best. It smells so delicious, I could almost eat it! (Don’t do that.) Not only are bubble baths fun just for the experience, it will also provide some quiet time for you to relax. And in case you missed it, don’t forget to check out my bubble bath hack to get as many bubbles as possible out of any bath product!
While you’re bathing, or before or after, exfoliating the skin is one of my favorite ways to feel refreshed. The best body scrubs I’ve ever tried are the sugar scrubs from Tree Hut. You can get these at places like Ulta and Walmart. They’re super affordable and make the entire bathroom smell absolutely delicious.
Lip masks are a total pamper product. They might sound super extra, but they actually do make a difference. Most all lip masks that I try work pretty similarly, but these collagen infused lip masks from KNC Beauty are the perfect pink for Valentine’s Day. Just leave these on for 15-20 minutes and your lips will feel moisturized and nourished. A must before applying products like liquid lipsticks!
Masks are definitely a staple in any pamper routine, but lips aren't the only ones that need some special treatment. Face masks provide the ultimate relaxation! My favorite is the Aztec Secret Indian Healing clay mask, but that’s not as precious looking as this Pixi Rose Flash Balm. This pretty product can not only act as a super moisturizing mask for dry Winter skin, it can also be used as a daily moisturizer, or as a makeup primer. It’s a win-win-win product!
Lastly, nails! Some people might like going to a salon for this, but I love doing them myself. I’ve been all about the classic, feminine shades lately like light pinks and reds. One of my favorites is Sweet As Candy by Essence. I love their formula and their affordability (only $1.99). They also have a color called Perfect Match, which is a close second. Sweet As Candy is super soft, but Perfect Match can be completed in one coat.
All of these products make for the perfect pamper experience! No matter what time of day, they’ll make you feel so relaxed and rejuvenated. Although these were more Valentine’s themed, they could totally work any time of year. A nice bath, some skincare, and a fresh mani is never a bad idea!
