Top 5 Spring Nails

Sticking to beauty and fashion “rules” has never really been my thing. If I want to wear white after labor day, I’m gonna do it. If I want to carry a black purse in the middle of Summer or wear neon nails in Winter, nothing’s gonna stop me. With that being said, I also have sets of things for each season that I’ll switch out. Nail polish is one of those things and although I could categorize the majority of my Spring nail colors as soft and pastel, these are my top five favorites.

Let’s start with the lightest shade. This is Sally Hansen’s nail polish called Shell We Dance?. It’s been one of my favorites for years and is even the color I wore for our engagement photos. It’s the perfect soft pink that looks almost invisible at first glance. With two thick coats, this shade provides the most natural enhancement with the most shine.
If I want something just as soft and feminine on the nails, but with a little bit more color I’ll go for Wet n Wild’s Tickled Pink nail polish. This color has been around forever and I hope they never take it away. It’s such a good formula and very opaque. When you look closely in person, you can see the tiniest amount of a shimmery sparkle to it. This is the best pastel pink!
My last favorite pink shade for Spring is again just slightly darker than the previous. Sinful Colors is one of my favorite nail polish brands and what makes up the majority of my collection. Their shade called Soul Mate is definitely my favorite color and another one that I wore a ton during my wedding planning. This color is flattering on so many skin tones and matches with almost anything.
Speaking of Sinful Colors being my favorite brand, this next one is a pure white from their line called Snow Me White. This is one of the only polishes I’ve ever used up completely and had to repurchase. White nails are one of my favorites, especially for Spring and Summer. This is just a perfect plain white without any hidden undertones. I also reach for this pretty often as an accent mixed in with other glitter and color polishes. A white nail polish is like a black eyeliner, it should be a staple in everyone’s collection.
Ella + Mila isn’t a brand I’ve heard much about and I don’t have many products from them. I got this polish called Pistache in a Boxycharm a while ago and it is one of my favorite soft pastel greens. Green nail polish can sometimes be tricky for me and while the formula of this is a little streaky during application, the finished look is gorgeous.
Besides the weather warming up and the time change, bringing out bright colors in beauty and fashion is one of the things I look forward to the most during Spring. Pinks are definitely my favorite, but I really just love any pastel. They’re just so pretty to look at!!
